Some Updates from Yours Truly

Today I sat reading Veronica Roth's brilliant Divergent (let's face it, the book is GORGEOUS), and it inspired me to be more brave like Tris. Not I-jump-off-trains-and-pass-simulations-easily bravery, but everyday bravery. Like being more selfless and street-smart. True, I've always considered myself book-smart, but it would be great to be thought of as other things, too. I've liked a couple of sports, but I want to be able to swing from metal rails like Tarzan...okay so not like him.  I'd love to be able to analyze people and know so easily what to do in situations. In books, I find that characters are often very intuitive about their surroundings (the author's way of showing what other characters look like from 1st person P.O.V. I suppose).

So, I have decided to devote more time studying for my finals, and also more time blogging in general. It's been hard since my mother has continuously refuses to get me more than one book at a time and thinks that one book a week will suffice this booklover's craving. Well, she is very wrong. She doesn't understand. Books are me, I am a book. At least I know that I can be read very easily, like an open book, which doesn't always help me. But I think you get the point. Books are my life, and I'll probably still be reading YA literature in my 90's. Those are fortunately VERY far away.

I really would like to finally get another review up, so I think I'll dedicate it to Divergent. This time I promise I will actually  write a review and post it. I don't like breaking promises, so this one WILL GO UP.

Off to bed I go...with a promising tomorrow awaiting me.
I have big plans for the weekend, which include:
1. Finishing Divergent
2. Writing the Divergent review
3. Seeing The Priest so that I can check out Lilly Collins (future actress for The City of Bones Movie) :)

Alex Pettyfer has always been my top pick for Jace. no one else. But hello, here is someone else to consider...BENJAMIN STONE! See his tweet and sexy Jace picture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Again, sorry I haven't been on recently.
There has been a lot of testing recently, and finals are coming up:(
But today I didn't go to school because I was sick, so I wanted to take the opportunity to provide an update!

Anyway, here are some upcoming reviews:
Vampire Kisses by Ellen Schreiber
The Forest of Hands and Teeth Trilogy by Carrie Ryan ( I still did not post that one uup)
The HUnger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins (I still didn't do this one either)
and more once I get more books because currently, I've been put on a reading ban...:O

In other news, I have also begun to write!
I'll post some of my poems up soon, and I have awesome ideas for a book, but it will be really hard to write...

Interesting Fact of the Day

Here is the interesting fact of the day:

One of the longest words in the english language without the letter E is Floccinaucinihilipilification. It means the act of declaring something worthless.

The word was derived from a grammar book that listed four different Latin words that all roughly meant "of little or no value" (floccus, pilus, nihil, and nauci). There were strung together with "-fication" into one word as a joke. Fittingly, we now have an unnecessarily long, pointless word that describes the act of deciding that something is totally and absolutely valueless.

Think you can use it in a sentence? Its first recorded use was in 1741 by poet William Shenstone:
"I loved him for nothing so much as his flocci-nauci-nihili-pili-fication of money."

More recently it was used by the late Senator Jesse Helms in 1999:
"I note your distress at my floccinaucinihilipilification of the CTBT [Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty".

Vampire Academy

UNFORTUNATELY, today I won't have time to post the review of Last Sacrifice.
HOWEVER, I will post the pics of my project on LS.
THEREFORE, book rights rightfully belong to Richelle Mead and her publishing company,
BUT the project and writing is MINE...NO COPYCATS please! :)  I put a lot of hard work into this...Thank you!

Greetings from Michelle-World:)
HAPPY EASTER to all who celebrate, or otherwise HAPPY CHOCOLATE OBSESSION DAY!
Soon, I'm going to start writing my (again) short (condensed) review of the Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead, or well more or so the last book!
The review will be more about a project I did on Last Sacrifice, so I hope you like what you see...
Come to the blog again in a few to see the review.
Hopefully it will be up soon, but definitely by the end of today!
Right now, I spent some time outside!
The weather is gorgeous, and I took some pictures!
Post them later maybe?
